Who I was
For years I moved through life like a machine. I excelled at everything. I built my identity on productivity and performance. This is my story of how I began to rebuild self trust and regulate my nervous system. When I became a mother, the world expected me to add caregiving to my resume and keep going. I tried, hustled, organized. I obsessively researched the “right” way to do everything. On the outside I looked competent. On the inside I felt detached. My nervous system was so depleted that I couldn’t hear my own guidance.
The Turning Point
One sleepless night I realized I had been making decisions based on fear and advice instead of listening to my body. I was delegating my voice to everyone else. My exhaustion wasn’t just physical; it was a sign that I had abandoned my inner authority. I began slowing down, started tracking the sensations in my chest, throat and jaw when I faced a choice. I learned to pause before reaching for outside certainty. This simple practice cracked me open. I realized my body had been telling me the truth all along.
The Rebuilding Process
My journey to rebuild self trust involved regulating my nervous system with breathwork, nature, movement and rest. Rebuilding didn’t happen overnight. It started with practicing mindfulness and body‑scans to improve my interoception and body trust. I made a list of things that lit me up and carved out time to pursue them. I confronted uncomfortable feelings rather than numbing them. Prioritized rest and rhythm — sleep cycles, regular meals, and downtime — to create safety in my body and life. This work reconnected me with my intuition and gave me the clarity to build a business that aligns with my values and allows me to be fully present with my family.

The Cost of Staying Disconnected
When you ignore your body’s signals, your nervous system gets stuck in survival mode, leading to anxiety, fatigue and numbness. Decisions feel off, motivation fades and you move through your days without conviction. You may even develop physical and emotional health problems. I share this because I don’t want you to wait until your body says “no” for you.
Why This Work Matters
Women are wired for sensitivity and connection, yet our culture pushes us into over‑productivity and perfectionism. We learn to please others and abandon ourselves. Rebuilding self trust is not a luxury; it’s a necessity. It allows us to show up as whole, intuitive, grounded women who can lead our families, businesses and communities without burning out. My mission is to guide you back to your own wisdom so you can make choices from a place of peace, not pressure.
